Alexis  Johnson Jr.

 

Alexis "Show" Johnson, Jr. is a native of Atlanta, GA and has had a love for football since the age of 4-years old. He played youth football, baseball and soccer at several Recreational Parks throughout the Greater Atlanta and Clayton County areas. Alexis is a multi- talented sports athlete  in which he won several awards such as the Si Young Award in baseball.

 

Alexis Graduated from Mt. Zion High School in 2014 and excelled in Football, Baseball and Track  throughout his 4-year tenure which earned him the nickname "Showtime".  He was Lettered at Mt. Zion High School and named the Varsity Football Team's Defensive End MVP his Senior year.

 

Alexis received a full football scholarship at Fort Scott Community College (FSCC) in Fort Scott, Kansas where he was exceptional on the field as well as off the field maintaining a 3.2 GPA. In 2015, Alexis earned his Associate Degree at FSCC and was named a 4-Star Defensive Tackle of FSCC; Honorable Mention All-KJCCC; Rivals, 247Sports, Scout:4-Star and ESPN : 4-star No.1 JUCO Defensive Tackle.  Alexis has proven that you can exceed expectations in Junior College. As one of the top Defensive Tackles in the nation in junior College, Alexis has a great selection of top colleges to select from.  In December 2015, he ended his Division 1 scouting tour and committed to the University of Tennessee as a early enrollee...Go Vols! He is a Student Athlete recipient of the Charlie & Mai Coffey Scholarship Endowment Fund at the University of Tennessee. Alexis Red-shirted his Sophomore year , however broke into the Vols defensive line rotation as a starting D-Tackle and made a great Impact in the SEC and was the 2018 recipient of the "My All Award" and ending his Senior year on a good note.  Alexis has maintained perseverance as a Student Athlete on and off the field and is a recent 2018 Graduate of the  University of Tennessee with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies. He is one-step closer to his dream of entrepreneurship and playing football on a professional level.
